Our Origin Story
An unlikely trio quietly living out their lives in 3 very different areas on one very large continent. It seems that they might never have met but for a series of previously unimaginable events working in concert to put them on each other's paths. With Zoom as their ally in creating a safe space, their shared values lit the way toward a collaboration.

Tracy Pott Knudsen
Tracy Pott Knudsen, Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, began her journey with EQ at a young age. As a lifelong learner and constant seeker of new information and resilience techniques, Tracy embraces co-constructing the learning experience with her clients and workshop attendees. In addition to coaching youth and adults privately, Tracy teaches Resiliencey skills in her community and is a certified EQ Practitioner, Assessor and Facilitator thru the ICF accredited organization Six Seconds. She is also a founding member of The Empathy Incubator, a collaboration supporting the development of empathy in leadership.
Tracy is a suicide survivor and recently remarried mom of 4 young adults living in North County San Diego. She hosts her private practice out of Indigo Dragon Wellness Center in Leucadia and The Fitness Studio in Solana Beach, California. Tracy’s goal is to utilize her daily practice of emotional intelligence to help herself and others to feel seen, heard and understood with truth and love.
Gerald Bush
Gerald is owner and Chief People Strategist for GBKB Consulting, a Fractional HR, Executive Coaching, and Organizational Agility company. Gerald has spent over 20 years in corporate America leading change management, diversity & inclusion, leadership development, employee engagement, employee retention, and labor & employee relation’s strategies that resulted in organizational transformation. Gerald is an Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Practitioner, EQ Certified Coach, ICF Certified Coach- PCC, Certified Taking Flight with DISC Trainer, Certified Trainer/Facilitator and SHRM- SCP. Gerald understands what it takes to develop consultative business solutions and recommend programs that align with the mission and vision of an organization. Gerald received his BA from Alcorn State University and Master’s from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Gerald is currently Director of Member for Indiana SHRM and VP of Membership for Indy SHRM.
Joanna Brewster
Joanna is an ICF ACC credentialed and Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, Certified EQ Assessor and Facilitator who draws on her life skills and experience, in addition to her professional experience in a variety of industries, to support leaders of all kinds to uncover what may be holding them back from all they desire. Her lifelong purpose is to foster Empathy, Love and Kindness for a deeper understanding and connection with ourselves and others, to ripple those values out into the world for greater equity and joy in our human experience.
With her deep knowledge in Emotional Intelligence, Positive Psychology and Brené Brown’s research on courage, vulnerability and compassion, Joanna uses her genuine, compassionate and open approach to bring her clients unique perspectives. Her strength in coaching is her natural ability to listen and make heart- connections. She brings a gentle calm and reflective approach to explore conversations that deepen self awareness and foster growth. She’s been told her genius is being present which for her clients means a sacred space where she is right there with them where they are at. For herself, her ability to be present means finding joy in all life has to offer with a trust for every next step.
Sure, events have a way of working in our favor
to bring people to the right spot at the right time but what truly connected this trio? All healing from their pasts, all reckoning with labels, all confronting hurdles created by themselves, all listening to their souls, all seeking deeper meaning and a purpose driven life.
